The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is a part of Auburns
campus intended to offer courses for retired individuals in the
community. The classes are currently hosted at Sunny Slope, a antebellum
plantation home. The project is an expansion of the OLLI
campus on the sunny slope site.
The design includes three small classrooms, one larger classroom, an art studio, movement studio, cooking classroom, and an event space. The project is also responding to
the historical context, as Sunny Slope is a major piece of confederate
history.

The response is a system of small buildings that are abstracted forms that direct views away from the plantation home. The rooms follow a linear path that is infilled with natural landscaping.
